An Introduction

 To whoever may read this,

My name is Alexander, but online I go by le Corbeau (long story, might explain one day, probably not). I have started this blog to document my progress in making bandes dessinées (also called Franco-Belgian Comics, basically French/European style comics), I do the drawing and sometimes the storylines but I also have friends who write the stories for me because my own story-writing skills are not very good.

I always have multiple projects ongoing at the same time and so sometimes I will post many updates on one specific BD project and not another project for a while. This blog will be like my public journal, cataloguing my progress and providing information about the storylines and settings and characters and such.

I also write a lot of music and poetry so there may sometimes be posts on here about those topics too, however I do aim to keep this blog mainly for my bandes dessinées, after all, there is YouTube and Soundcloud for music but I don't see anywhere else to share and talk about my BD art.

I have chosen this evening as the date to start this blog as I have finally finished the first 5 pages of one of my projects, though I do not have a finished title yet (the working title is ZILF Club), the story is written and most of the script is written. I wrote the story to this one myself and thought up all of the characters and setting by myself, it is the first project that is entirely written and illustrated by me. I had divided the script into sections (like a prologue and chapters), the prologue is the 5 pages that I have now finished, my idea is coming to life and I can now share it with other people.

It seems fitting that the first project I will be sharing is the aforementioned ZILF Club (must find a better title). This is the stuff that I daydream about, so yo, welcome into the mind of a former patient of a forensic hospital for the criminally insane, if you like it you might be insane too

                            -much love, le Corbeau
